Swimming pools
Last week we went to the swimming pool. The children were delighted! But I was very disappointed. We went to Aqualons.
1- Lons (West) is quite far for us (East of Pau)
2- 2.5€ to get in adults and children alike (from 3 years old!), free under (phew, what a relief..)
3- the water was cold in the wading pool and paddling pool
4- the paddling pool was nice as there is a big duck, wings are the slides... The children absolutely love it!! But they turn blue in no time... There are deck chairs but you can't get them out of the water.
and but not least:
5- The lockers cost 0.20€, you don't get the money back.
Of course there is the BIG slide! But we can't get on it anyway.
We've tried the "Complexe nautique Louis Peguilhan" (Boulevard du Cami Salié). The wading pool is nice and warm, important with toddlers!! However nothing to play with..
Now, I heard about a new swimming pool in Nay. We have to try that!

ALL SUMMER (3 July to 30 August) swimming pools in Pau : entrance at 1€ !!!
Under 6 : FREE
However Peguilhan is closed on Saturdays and Sundays and in August...
I've discovered Pau Plage. Yes! Opened every day til August 30th, 10am-8pm. Piscine Plein Ciel.
