About Me:: I am the present Anglophone Membership Secretary and Welcomer, wife of Richard and lover of Teddy, my little four-legged 5 year old. I have lived in France for the past 9 years and in the Pau area for the last 4 years. Before coming to retire in France, we lived for 9 years in Italy. My hobby is designing and making hand made greetings cards for all occasions.

This is john hutton, I wrote to you from Sydney Australia a while ago.
Well we have arrived in Pau this week and I am writing to touch base with you.
The weather is not great is it! A bit of a shock after Sydney.
We are looking for a house to rent at the moment, and think we might have found one ,but are waiting for the agents to do there final checks etc before we know for sure.
I am going to join your group as soon as I can, but dont have a cheque book at the moment so have to wait till I get one. Unless there is another way we can pay you?
I wanted to ask you how we can get english TV and radio here? Thy tell us at the house we can only have a dish in the yard, and not on the roof or walls of the house, so I dont know that will go?
Well I will finish for now, and hope this finds you in good health.
I will talk with you again soon, and any advic you can give me would be great.
