- I've recently moved to Pau and I'd really like to meet some British or American people to help them learn French -if need be- and to get some help as well to improve my English . It would also be pleasant to make new friends but I wonder if native French speakers can join your community?... I'm 48 and the mother of two teenagers. I also have a great husband. - Hi Dominique. I just wanted to thank you for hosting the Anglophone coffee morning yesterday in your beautiful apartment. I think we can all say without doubt that it was a great success! It was nice to meet new members and I am sure that some will go on to form new friendships.
