Easter Party, a great success!
Many thanks to everyone who participated to the preparations, decorations and hosting! Thanks Emma for lending your house and garden! A huge amount of work has been achieved. Worth it though, we all had a wonderful time.
We should keep in mind that next year we're definitely having a committee to organize the party!
The party was almost postponed because of the rain but we got lucky and the grass soon dried.
On their arrival, the kids handed their decorated egg for the competition before decorating a bag for the hunt.
The little ones (0-5) headed for the hunt while the 6+ were on the track of a treasure!!
I stayed with the little ones. They had a sheat of paper with all they had to look for. So I guided India and Kieren while carrying Shaunee and taking photos... Sorry I didn't get everyone on the photos :-( Tell me if I forgot names or got names wrong (tkx Jacqui..)
The 6+ were difficult to frame, always running about! The only chance I got was when Emma was reading out loud the clues they found.
Then there was the Egg competition. The adults were the judges. Big success, 3 categories and 5 winners!
Just like you said Jacqui, like Neelan, Kieren is still carrying his bag about. He's very proud. He showed it to his teacher and showed off in front of his friends :-))
