Hello. I work for an established language school in Pau. We are looking for a teacher (or teachers) living on the coast (in or near Biarritz). If you, or anyone you know, would be interested, I'd love to hear from you!

The main requirements are:

- They should have English as their mother-tongue
- Ideally, they would be CELTA or TEFL qualified BUT we will consider anyone with some teaching/linguistic experience or qualification

Hi there,

I have only just seen your ‘blog’ on the APP website looking for English teachers in or near Biarritz. I live about an hour from Biarritz however I do not know whether you still require anyone. I am very interested in knowing more about the post.
My qualifications are – I have a Batchelor of Science degree (Open) in Computing and Astronomy from the Open University. I also have a Diploma in information technology and a Certificate in Natural Sciences. I have retired early from the UK police where I was a fully qualified teacher (on a one to one basis or in a classroom) in Law. English is my main language and I have several examination certificates in English Language and English Literature. I feel I have sufficient teaching experience and knowledge of English to successfully teach the subject.
I would be very grateful if you could let me know of my suitability and if you feel it appropriate further details regarding the job itself.
